TV Wall Mounts

A wall-mounted TV bracket lets you securely mount your television while freeing up floor space. Available in fixed, tilting, or swiveling versions, these mounts fit screens of all sizes and brands according to the VESA standard. Your choice depends on how you use it: a discreet, close-to-wall fit, angle adjustment to reduce glare, or full rotation to watch from different spots in the room. Learn more

The different types of wall mounts

The fixed mount places your TV very close to the wall with minimal distance, typically between 2 and 5 cm. This solution is ideal when your viewing angle is already optimal and you want a clean, minimalist look. Installation is straightforward and stability is maximal.

The tilting mount adds the ability to adjust the vertical angle, handy for TVs placed higher up, such as in a bedroom. Tilting also helps eliminate glare depending on the room’s lighting.

The swiveling or articulating mount offers the greatest flexibility. Thanks to an extendable arm, you can pivot the screen laterally and pull it away from the wall by up to 40–50 cm. Ideal for large spaces or corner setups.

Essential selection criteria

VESA compatibility is the first thing to check. This standard defines the spacing of the mounting points on the back of the TV (100x100 mm, 200x200 mm, 400x400 mm, etc.). Most mounts cover multiple VESA patterns to fit different screen sizes.

The supported weight must match or exceed your TV’s weight. Mounts specify load capacities ranging from 15 kg for smaller screens up to 100 kg and more for very large formats.

Compatible screen size is expressed in inches. A 32–65 inch mount suits most needs, while 42–85 inch models or larger are aimed at big-screen TVs.

Installation and compatibility

Installation must take the wall type into account. Concrete or brick walls can support all weights with appropriate anchors. For drywall, check for studs or choose specific fasteners that distribute the load.

Most mounts include a bubble level and a drilling template to make installation easier. Some models feature a cable cover or guide to hide wires.

These mounts work with all brands (Samsung, LG, Sony, Philips, Hisense, TCL) and all screen types: LED, LCD, OLED, QLED, whether flat or curved.

Practical benefits

Mounting your TV on the wall frees up the space taken by a traditional TV stand. You gain floor area and create a more open interior.

The viewing angle can be adjusted to your position: sitting on the sofa, lying in bed, or even from the kitchen with a swiveling mount. This reduces eye strain and improves comfort during long viewing sessions.

Safety is enhanced, especially in homes with children. A wall-mounted TV won’t tip over.
