The Focal 100 ICLCR5 is a compact 2-way in-ceiling speaker that stands out for its sound performance. It forms the heart of your home cinema system, whether in a dedicated room or living space, and can be installed in the ceiling to complement traditional or in-wall Hi-Fi speakers.

Sound Quality

The Focal 100 ICLCR5 is equipped with two 5” Polyglass woofers, a 1” inverted dome tweeter, and an 8” Polyglass passive radiator. The Polyglass woofers provide natural, uncolored midrange and rich bass, while the more compact, orientable aluminum inverted dome tweeter improves sound dispersion. The passive radiator extends the speaker’s bass response, delivering deep and articulate low frequencies.

The speaker has a sensitivity of 92 dB and a frequency response of 65 Hz to 23 kHz, ensuring a wide range of audio frequencies for music and speech. The inverted dome tweeter can be oriented horizontally and vertically to precisely target the listening point, and its level can be adjusted to three positions (-3 dB, 0 dB, +3 dB) to optimize the speaker’s performance in different acoustic environments.

Versatility and Easy Installation

The Focal 100 ICLCR5 can be used for five different applications: left, center, or right front channels, and left and right rear channels. It features a three-position channel selector (left, center, or right) that allows you to adapt the speaker’s directivity curve to provide the same sound quality regardless of its position in the room. The speaker comes with a magnetically attached, paintable grille, allowing it to blend seamlessly into your interior decor. It also includes eight optimized mounting clamps for quick and reliable installation.
