This stand is made of several materials of different densities: rubberwood, MDF, and a 6 mm thick metal reinforcement. The 6 mm thick metal top plate rests on an MDF and rubber support, creating an optimal interface between the speaker and its base. This thoughtful layering serves a specific purpose: after the speaker’s rigidity has been meticulously designed and engineered, the stand must not compromise it.

The MDF base reaches a thickness of 35 mm, reinforced by a 5 mm metal plate. The weight of 15.3 kg per unit plays an inertial role against unwanted vibrations, preventing micro-movements that could affect the precision of spatial positioning. The central column in rubberwood brings its specific mechanical properties, notably its ability to damp certain resonance frequencies. The rubber inserted between the MDF and the upper metal plate provides an additional barrier against the propagation of high-frequency vibrations.

The decoupling system: between anchoring and isolation

The supplied decoupling spikes provide perfect stability. These spikes offer two installation configurations: 629 mm in height without spikes, 648 mm with them. The SPS-3000’s anti-vibration feet protect against any negative impact from vibrations, thereby maintaining audio precision.

The spikes serve a selective coupling function: they anchor the stand to the floor to prevent any wobble, while reducing the contact surface between the stand and the floor. This geometry limits the transmission of structural vibrations from the building to the speaker, while allowing the evacuation of mechanical energy generated by the drivers.

Assembling the SPS-3000 with the NS-3000 requires two people due to the combined weight approaching 30 kg per speaker. Due to the material’s characteristics, the wood of the NS-3000 may shrink, and the screws may loosen due to vibrations caused by music playback, warranting periodic tightening checks.
