PA speakers

PA speakers are used to broadcast music or speech to a large audience. Active speakers, which are very common today, have a built-in amplifier: they connect directly to a mixer via XLR, require little cabling, and often offer modern features such as DSP to adapt the sound to the environment, as well as Bluetooth for easy connection to a smartphone.
