Q Acoustics Concept Speakers
December 22, 2016

It comes in 3 models: the Concept 40 floorstanding speaker, the Concept 20 bookshelf speaker, and the Concept center channel.
The Concept 40 model is Q Acoustics’ flagship floorstanding speaker, the latest addition to the multi-award-winning Concept range. This two-way bass reflex speaker features bi-wiring terminals, two 125 mm mid/bass drivers with carbon fiber and ceramic cones, and a 25 mm ferrofluid-cooled dome tweeter. This tweeter delivers an exceptional level of detail for a speaker in this price range. The speaker’s extraordinary soundstage, dynamics, and musicality are due to its 10 mm thick MDF sandwich cabinet, which encloses a special gel called “Gelcore,” developed with the Concept 20. This technology eliminates all vibrations and delivers an impressively high level of performance. Its elegant stand allows the Concept 40 to achieve perfect rigidity and contact with the floor, further enhancing its performance.
The Concept 20 is a speaker that surpasses all previous achievements by Q Acoustics. To reach this result, the design team applied advanced technology to solve the fundamental problem of cabinet resonance, widely recognized as the main obstacle to “high-end” acoustic performance.
The Concept center incorporates the same technologies as the floorstanding and bookshelf models. It is a 2-way bass reflex speaker with two 10 cm mid/bass drivers featuring carbon fiber and ceramic cones, and a 25 mm ferrofluid-cooled dome tweeter. It completes the Concept range to create a home theater package.
