MusicCast

MusicCast is a revolution in networked audio. MusicCast devices can be used separately or together, however you like. They are all controlled via an intuitive, fluid and easy-to-access mobile app. Use a soundbar, wireless speaker, amplifier, Hi-Fi system or any other device that suits you, then combine them to expand your MusicCast multiroom system. Yamaha’s brand new MusicCast system streams all your music, everywhere, for everyone.

MusicCast Multiroom

MusicCast uses a high-performance wireless network to stream and enhance sound. This multiroom protocol can transfer music from a smartphone, PC or NAS to other MusicCast devices in your home. It can also share music from other devices such as a TV or Blu-ray player connected to the SRT-1500. Audio content from Bluetooth smartphones and tablets can also be transferred to MusicCast devices in multiple rooms.

The low-profile design allows for discreet positioning in front of the TV screen. With 76W of digital amplification power, eight built-in speakers and two bass sections, the YSP-1600 will let you enjoy high-quality surround sound in any circumstance.

Yamaha digital sound projectors create true surround sound (not virtual) by producing sound beams that reflect off the walls. You can control the beam directions via the remote control or app. Thanks to a wide listening area, multiple people can enjoy powerful and immersive surround sound.

Wireless Music Streaming via Bluetooth or AirPlay from your Smartphones and Tablets

Enjoy the music from your songs or movies on your smartphone or tablet, wirelessly. You can also use the AirPlay function for maximum listening quality with your iPhone or iPad. Control your YSP-1600 sound projector at the same time while keeping control of the sources being played. With the Bluetooth receiver remaining active at all times, you also have the option to turn the SRT-1500 projector on or off from your wireless device at any time.
