Multi-monoblock Design

The P2 is an independent monoblock amplifier. Each channel is isolated on a separate board with its own heatsink. It also benefits from its own power supply rail. Since there is no common path for the audio signal between channels, there is no crosstalk whatsoever.

Input Stages with Complementary Feedback

8 hand-selected, low-noise bipolar transistors, chosen for optimal balance, are configured for active feedback management during loading. Pairing them further ensures better heat dissipation during use.

Massive Toroidal Transformers

With a low-profile design, these low-impedance transformers operate one per channel. They ensure a continuous, pure current reserve for the amplification stages. Their specific shape is designed to limit power supply hum. They are complemented by a regulation stage to prevent current spikes and damage to upstream circuits.

14 Bipolar Transistors per Channel

The performance of an amplifier is directly related to the number of high-quality, high-power components in its output stages. The more transistors, the more power is available to deliver musical crescendos, thunderous effects, and explosive movie scenes. And that’s how much current can be kept in reserve.

Separate Power Rails

The P-series amplifier is exemplary in terms of silence. Each channel uses two independent power supplies separate from the rest of the transformer winding. The amplifiers are then able to deliver stable, continuous current, even at maximum power, regardless of the number of channels being driven. In addition, a proprietary saturation management system monitors the circuitry to ensure no spikes occur. Finally, the noise level, controlled by regulation, reaches the very low threshold of 125dB.

Handmade Circuit

The PCB, made to military FR4 specifications in epoxy and fiberglass, uses pure copper conduction paths of 2 ounces. Conductivity is maximized and insulation between conductive and ground layers provides protection against internal or external electromagnetic energy influence.

Fuseless Design

The P2 is connected directly to the power supply capacitance stages. This preserves low impedance and maximizes available power to the amplification stages. Even when driving a low or complex impedance device, the result is optimal. If a short circuit occurs, only the input relay will be disconnected. In addition, the standby circuit is protected by a thermistor that also protects against overheating. Once temperature conditions return to normal, the system restores itself.

Balanced RCA and XLR Inputs

A three-position switch on the rear of the unit allows you to choose between unbalanced inputs or true professional balanced inputs. All RCA and XLR connectors are gold-plated for longevity.

Large Gold-Plated Connectors

The speaker cable connectors are custom made. They accept large gauge bare wire or banana plugs. Gold plated, they offer better longevity.

Large Aluminum Heat Sinks

With over 7258cm² of heat dissipation surface area per channel, the P2 is perfectly equipped to evacuate any heat generated by the high power they deliver. The precise surface area calculation eliminates the need for fans and thus avoids the physical noise and power-induced noise they can cause. Finally, for safety, a thermal sensor on each heatsink continuously monitors their activity.
