Lyra Scale

The SKALA builds upon the classic concepts of Lyra: striving for the greatest possible rigidity, a lightweight mobile assembly, and a construction that promotes the evacuation of parasitic micro-vibrations. The selection of materials, the design of the cartridge body, and the assembly of the stylus and stylus holder have been thoroughly redesigned. The Skala has exceptional control over the micro-vibrations produced by the stylus and considerably reduces resonances during record playback, thus allowing the maximum amount of information to be extracted from the groove. It combines this ability to extract the smallest details with an unprecedented presence and sense of “substance”. No less astonishing is the noise level: practically inaudible! Each record is a rediscovery! The Skala is the most natural cartridge, with the lowest background noise, ever produced by Lyra. It is one of our favorites, regardless of price!
