The 3D Wing support system, a signature of the Art Monitor range, consists of two padded, spring-mounted wings that automatically adjust to the shape of the wearer’s head. The gold-plated connectors include a 3.5 mm mini-jack plug with a screw-on 6.35 mm jack adapter. This generous cable length is ideal for home listening setups where the amplifier may be far from the listening position. The absence of a detachable connector at the earcups is a deliberate choice to prioritize signal integrity.

Circumaural memory foam earpads fully envelop the ears. Their three-dimensional design follows the natural contours of the auricle, creating effective passive isolation while evenly distributing pressure. The synthetic covering is easy to maintain and provides a soft feel against the skin.

The ATH-A2000Z delivers a decidedly neutral and detailed sound approach. The bass, extended thanks to the D.A.D.S. system, remains controlled and articulate without artificial emphasis.
