Atlantis LAB Arconsat beech (pack of 2)

The Arconsat is the first model in the Atlantis lab hi-fi range.

Its design is the result of a demanding pursuit of precision, speed, transparency, and delicacy, allowing it to radiate a highly musical, wide, precise soundstage with a scale capable of reproducing and “holding” the musical space of an entire orchestra.

With its impedance stability and efficiency, the Arconsat can be powered by any type of amplifier from 20 watts, allowing you to choose the right cable/amp combination.

The low end of the spectrum is handled by an 18 cm paper cone woofer whose “motor suspension” / “moving mass” balance can reach down to 35 Hz with an efficiency of 90 dB in its bass reflex enclosure.

The upper midrange/treble section adopts the concept of the studio monitor from the pro range (AT21 Pro) thanks to a 1-inch driver, used here without a horn, and installed on the cabinet under pressure between two pieces of wood. Decoupled by a foam seal, it has no mechanical contact with the enclosure but uses the same crossover structure as the AT21PRO.

On the latter, the tweeter attenuation is done by a resistor-less stage, only adjusted by capacitors and a corrected fourth-order filter.

This principle brings great smoothness and very low distortion. The phase and impedance are carefully corrected for a good match with the woofer. The result is a continuity of energy reproduced over the entire audio band. Subjectively, the 1-inch driver provides an absence of compression on fortes without aggressiveness or forwardness.
