Overview

With the resurgence in popularity of vinyl records, we have been asked several times to develop a very high-end cartridge that is more affordable than The Colibri. The Crimson is our answer and probably one of the cartridges offering the best quality/price ratio.

The Crimson is therefore a high-performance moving coil cartridge entirely handcrafted by the Master himself. A cross between The Colibri and The Condor, it is available in a natural light wood structure or in dark or red colored wood, as well as, upon request, in polycarbonate. This MC cartridge has a relatively high output level, gold wire coils, and powerful samarium-cobalt magnets for excellent channel separation and high tracking ability.

The Crimson in koa wood now exists in a Stradivarius version. As the name suggests, the wood is coated with a special lacquer similar to that used for the famous violins. The coils are made of 24-carat gold wire, the magnet is samarium-cobalt, the cantilever is boron, and it features a proprietary stylus.

For the first owner, a free revision is offered after the first 200 hours of operation. This cartridge requires three weeks for its manufacture after receipt of an order placed with the official retailer or distributor, who can inform you of the total lead time.
