Overview

This new 2017 series, more aesthetic and more efficient than the previous one, is still intended for the sound reinforcement of outdoor areas subject to difficult conditions (rain, wind, UV…) such as: gardens, terraces, pool surroundings, boats, etc…

Across the 8 available references stamped IP-66, woofer and tweeter have been designed with the same materials as the multi-award winning VISUAL PERFORMANCE range. Thus, a 250% increase in the woofer’s displacement amplitude allows for significantly reduced distortion at high volumes. The voice coil diameter has also been increased by 7.44mm. The tweeter is equipped with a compression chamber offering a lower crossover frequency and better cooling. Waterproof speakers and sealed polypropylene enclosure ensure performance and durability.

The range includes 3 speaker sizes (Large 8’’, Medium 6’’ and Small 5’’), 2 performance levels (fabric tweeter & textured polypropylene woofer for level 1. Aluminum tweeter & Kevlar / Nomex laminated woofer with Santoprene surround for level 2) and stereo models (-SST: true stereo sound with a single speaker).

Finally, all MARINER speakers are delivered with a “FastMount” bracket offering quick and easy mounting (on the wall, ceiling, on a pole, etc.), allowing to orient the sound dispersion angle over 180°. For a perfect finish and more reliability, the speaker cable passes through the enclosure from the back to connect to corrosion-protected connectors located on the front.
