Overview
The chassis is made of a complex sandwich of various materials. Within the famous bulletproof laminated wood composite itself, an ingenious system has been introduced to further dampen vibrations; it consists of about a hundred steel balls evenly distributed. The continuously powered high-performance motor is integrated into this chassis while being decoupled from it. It is actually hidden under the platter which it drives via an aluminum sub-platter machined with extreme precision. The platter and sub-platter assembly rests on a special version of the now renowned CMB (Clearaudio Magnetic Bearing). This turntable can be equipped with virtually any 9-inch tonearm model, but Clearaudio’s brand new Clarify will be the perfect companion.
