Cambridge Audio Alva TT V2

The Alva TT V2 is designed for people who want to listen to exceptionally high-quality records without having to choose or install additional components. The TT V2 features a custom-designed, pre-installed cartridge. It also connects to nearly any audio system, thanks to a built-in switchable phono stage. It even works wirelessly with Bluetooth speaker systems.

High-Definition Bluetooth Vinyl Turntables

The built-in aptX HD Bluetooth frees the Alva from the rest of your hi-fi system. Since you have the freedom to place an Alva turntable on any flat surface, your records are the center of attention. Music can be streamed to any compatible Bluetooth kit, including headphones, in high-definition quality up to 24-bit/48 kHz. Or, you can turn it off and simply use phono cables: the choice is yours.

Built-in Phono Stage

The Alva TT V2 has a built-in phono stage (phono preamp), derived from our award-winning Alva Duo, to reveal the incredible precision of your records. This means you can connect the TT V2 to any compatible amp or speaker system. You can also turn off the turntable’s phono stage, which is ideal if your amp already has one or to keep the door open for upgrade options.

Pre-installed MC Cartridge

The Alva TT V2’s custom cartridge is ready to use. No setup is required, and its sound is perfectly matched to the turntable’s other components. We opted for a high-end moving coil (MC) cartridge with an exposed cantilever. It reduces unwanted resonance and vibration, delivers high gain levels, and exceptional musical detail during playback.

Direct Drive

The Alva TT V2 is equipped with a medium-torque direct drive motor, like its predecessor, the TT. The brushless 8-pole, 3-phase DC motor is quartz-controlled for precise platter speed. With precise control and quiet operation, the Alva TT V2’s wow and flutter is reduced to 0.06%, ensuring excellent pitch stability, especially during longer, sustained musical notes.
