Rega APOLLO CDP

The Apollo is housed in our latest custom half-width case to match the Brio amplifier. The top-loading mechanism offers unrivaled ease of use and reliability.

The Apollo’s output amplifier uses the high-specification Wolfson WM8742 digital-to-analog converter, the same integrated circuit found in Rega’s award-winning DACs.

The Apollo uses “digital” power supplies powering the CD processor, optical block and laser diode amplifier. This is achieved using the same high-performance, low-noise power supplies found in the same location in the Rega reference CD player. This significantly improves the playability, error correction and processing of the Apollo’s digital CD “inner core” of the “spinner” section.

The discrete output amplifier has a THD of 0.0025%, while improving the overall sound quality of the output amplifier.

The user interface is controlled using a dedicated display microprocessor, which lightens the workload of the main control processors, improving the stability of the control code, user-friendliness and initialization speed of the disc being played.

A new dedicated CD remote control is provided as standard, which also features Rega amplifier functionality.
