The Mains Multiplier 8+ is not an ordinary power strip, but rather a work of art made on a CNC machine that shapes this form from a single piece of synthetic material.

The type of the eight sockets is chosen because of the high contact pressure, which is evident when plugging in or removing a power plug. Higher contact pressure and optimized contact surface create a low resistance value, which is very important for good power distribution.

The wiring of the phase, neutral and ground is connected according to a star principle. Each outlet has its own wiring to the input connector. Current spikes or interference signals that appear on the ground contacts of one socket will now have less effect on the other sockets.

Just behind the IEC input connector, a Pulse Protector is integrated. This prevents spikes and pulses from reaching your equipment.

What to expect?

An improvement in dynamics, a much better sound image and a lower hum level. The sound character of your audio system remains, fortunately!

By using the Mains Multiplier with integrated Pulse Protector, your equipment has fewer problems with electrical failures induced by distortion on your network, and it is better protected against damage caused by the impact of nearby lightning strikes. A guarantee that lightning strikes will not damage your devices cannot be given because the energy content is too high.

Unique Ground-Bridge Selector

The Mains Multiplier 8+ is equipped with our unique Ground-Bridge selector. It offers you the possibility to connect to an external ground instead of the wall socket ground which is shared with all other devices in your home. In most cases, this external ground is a special copper electrode placed deep in the ground, outside your home, preferably it is used only for your audio.

With the Ground-Bridge placed between the black connector and the green connector, your Mains Multiplier 6+ is connected to the ground of the wall socket. With the Ground-Bridge placed between the two black connectors, you can feed the external ground to the green connector of your Mains Multiplier 6+.

Smart Phase Indicator

The Mains Multiplier 8+ has a very clever way of indicating that it is properly connected to the mains power supply. Two LEDs will indicate if the Mains Multiplier 6+ has an input voltage, if the ground is present and if the phase of the mains power is properly connected.

If the Mains Multiplier 8+ is properly connected, you will see two green lights. If one light is off or one light is red, something is wrong with your connection. See the figure for an explanation of the different indications.
