For the Studio 7 series, the design team envisioned a minimalist aesthetic. The speaker’s shape draws inspiration from Nordic nature, with rounded corners resembling pebbles from the Danish coast.

Construction

Jamo Studio speakers stand out with their exceptionally thick 15mm MDF walls, strategically reinforced by an 18mm front baffle. This unique design ensures an extremely low clean noise floor, providing a listening experience rich in detail and increased resolution, regardless of the output power. These performance levels surpass all other competing products in the same category.

7° Tilt

By tilting the speaker back a mere 7° and mounting it on an elegant base housing the speaker crossover, Jamo enhances the consistency of the soundstage and promotes a better balance between bass, midrange, and high frequencies. The alignment of the drivers helps minimize timing anomalies that can occur in more traditional speaker designs.

Driver Technologies

A brand-new 1-inch tweeter with a copper Faraday ring, which increases sensitivity and reduces nonlinear distortion, handles high-frequency duties. The fabric tweeter exhibits excellent distortion characteristics and wide bandwidth for non-fatiguing yet detailed sound.

The woofers feature embossed paper cones and high-strength motor assemblies incorporating aluminum shorting rings that enhance power handling and reduce distortion. The aluminum shorting ring acts as a heat sink, improving power handling and lowering distortion to produce clear, dynamic bass.
