For the Studio 7 series, the design team envisioned a minimalist aesthetic. The shape of the speaker is inspired by Nordic nature, with rounded corners resembling pebbles from the Danish coast.

Construction

Jamo Studio speakers stand out with their exceptionally thick 15 mm MDF walls, strategically reinforced by an 18 mm front baffle. This unique design ensures an extremely low clean noise level, delivering a listening experience rich in detail and increased resolution, regardless of the output power. These performances surpass those of all other competing products in the same category.

7° Tilt

By tilting the speaker back by only 7° and mounting it on an elegant base containing the speaker crossover, Jamo enhances the consistency of the sound stage and promotes a better balance between bass, midrange, and high frequencies. The alignment of the speakers helps minimize timing anomalies that can occur in a more traditional speaker.

Speaker Technologies

A brand new 2.54 cm tweeter with a copper Faraday ring that increases sensitivity and reduces nonlinear distortion handles high-frequency tasks. The fabric tweeter exhibits excellent distortion characteristics and a wide bandwidth for non-fatiguing yet detailed sound.

The woofers feature embossed paper cones and high-strength motor assemblies incorporating aluminum shorting rings that improve power handling and reduce distortion. The aluminum shorting ring acts as a heat sink, enhancing power handling and reducing distortion to produce clear, dynamic bass.
