Pathos Kratos Amplifier, warm, deep and dynamic sound

The Kratos amplifier features a hybrid circuit with a tube pre-stage and a Mosfet final stage, delivering 200W per channel. The pre-stage and final stage of Kratos are clearly separated with a prestigious output and a direct input to the final stage. Both the pre-output and final stages are XLR balanced.

In addition, the Kratos preamplification circuit uses Tung-Sol ECC803s tubes in pure class A for a warm, deep and dynamic sound. The class AB Mosfet final stage is heavily biased into class A and its high power at both 8 and 4 Ω allows it to drive any speaker. Kratos is also a headphone amplifier with a dedicated circuit (2 W @ 32 Ω).

The basic features of Kratos include 5 RCA inputs, 2 balanced XLR inputs, a digital display and remote-controlled functions, but can be enhanced by an optional DAC. Thanks to the optional DAC module integrating the HiDac Mk2 card, Kratos can receive all your music from your PC via USB or from a digital source via S/PDIF.
