Michell Engineering VTA 3 3-point fixation

The Michell VTA 3 adjuster allows you to easily adjust the height of your tonearm, so that it is perfectly level, regardless of the cartridge you choose to use. The correct adjustment of the Vertical Tracking Angle (VTA) and then the Stylus Rake Angle (SRA) for your cartridge allows the stylus to perfectly track the vinyl groove, thus optimizing the amount of detail extracted from the recording.

The base of the VTA/SRA adjustment device is 2 mm thick and once installed and adjusted to its lowest position, the adjustment device will raise your tonearm by 2 mm. If you are using the adjustment device with a Michell Engineering Gyro or Orbe turntable model, please install the supplied shorter 10 mm arm plate spacers to compensate for the additional height of the adjustment device. If you wish to use the adjustment device on a turntable where the arm plate/board cannot be lowered, please note that your tonearm will be 2 mm higher before any adjustment takes place. The VTA/SRA adjustment device comes with three nylon washers, these should be used if you wish to raise the tonearm beyond the 3.5 mm available using the adjustment device alone.
