The true strength of the WS-X1A lies in its versatility. It can be used in two ways:

1. In Surround mode, it wirelessly connects to a Yamaha True X soundbar to create true surround sound without the placement constraints of traditional rear speakers. You can place the WS-X1A speakers anywhere in the room and enjoy immersive 3D sound.

2. In Solo mode, the WS-X1A becomes a standalone portable Bluetooth speaker. Simply press the Solo button and you can take your music with you wherever you go. With a battery life of up to 12 hours on a single charge, rechargeable via USB-C in less than 3 hours, the WS-X1A is the perfect companion for all your adventures.

Design and Construction

Its enclosure is wrapped in a special fabric that allows sound to pass through without alteration, while the black, carbon gray, or light gray finishes seamlessly blend into any interior. The speaker is also IP67 certified, meaning it is waterproof and dust-resistant, allowing you to use it outdoors without worry.
