The Taga Harmony TA-900MULTI is a class AB 4-zone stereo amplifier designed for residential and commercial installations such as restaurants, bars, shops, conference rooms, or fitness clubs. It allows for the broadcasting of background music and vocal messages.

4 Independent Zones

The main feature of the TA-900MULTI is its ability to manage 4 stereo zones completely independently. Each zone has its own volume and tone control. This allows different music to be played in each room at appropriate sound levels, all controlled from a single central device.

The amplifier can power up to 4 pairs of speakers, with an impedance of 4 to 16 Ω per zone. The power output is 2x60W at 4 Ω or 2x45W at 8 Ω when all 4 zones are used simultaneously. If only one zone is active, the power increases to 2x85W at 4 Ω or 2x55W at 8 ohms.

This generous power is achieved through the use of an oversized 700W toroidal transformer. This type of transformer, typically reserved for high-end audiophile equipment, ensures a stable and noise-free power supply for optimal sound quality.

Multiple Audio Inputs

To feed the different zones with audio signals, the TA-900MULTI offers several types of inputs:

• A USB input for directly playing audio files in APE, FLAC, MP3, and WAV formats from a USB stick or hard drive.
• A front-panel 3.5mm mini-jack auxiliary input for easily connecting a portable player or smartphone.
• A microphone input with sensitivity adjustment for making announcements or connecting a wireless mic. The bandwidth is optimized for voice from 50 Hz to 12 kHz.
• RCA pre-amplified outputs for each zone, allowing for the connection of an additional power amplifier if needed.

Beyond its multi-room capabilities, the TA-900MULTI is above all a hi-fi amplifier capable of delivering high-quality sound. Its frequency response ranges from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with a harmonic distortion rate of less than 1%. The signal-to-noise ratio exceeds 75 dB.
