An Optimized Audio Circuit for Exceptional Performance

The BP-19’s optimized discrete operational amplifier offers an incredibly low total harmonic distortion plus noise (THD+N) rate, equal to or less than 0.0006%. The signal path features a fully balanced design from input to output, using a set of very closely matched components and a compact circuit architecture. This configuration achieves the lowest possible noise and superior common-mode rejection. The preamplifier also employs an advanced volume attenuator, ensuring linear, quiet, and durable performance.

Comprehensive Connectivity for All Needs

The BP-19 boasts an extensive range of connections to meet the demands of the most discerning audiophiles. The device offers two pairs of balanced XLR inputs and four pairs of unbalanced RCA inputs. On the output side, there are two pairs of RCA outputs (one fixed, one variable) and two pairs of balanced XLR outputs (one fixed, one variable). This configuration provides optimal flexibility for integration into different audio systems.

Robust Power Supply for Stable Performance

Unlike some previous models, the BP-19 integrates its power supply within the same chassis. It relies on an oversized toroidal transformer, high-quality filter capacitors, and two separate windings, one of which is dedicated to control circuits. This design ensures current stability and cleanliness, contributing to the device’s excellent sound performance.

Versatile Control Options

The BP-19 offers numerous control possibilities to adapt to different usage environments. An infrared remote control is provided, allowing volume adjustment and input selection. HEX codes are also available for programming universal remotes. The preamplifier can be controlled remotely via RS232 or IP when connected to a home automation ecosystem, thanks to the RS232 and Ethernet ports located on the rear panel. Trigger outputs also allow for turning other connected equipment, such as a power amplifier, on or off.

High-Quality Optional Phono Stage

For the first time, Bryston offers the option to integrate the renowned BP-2 phono stage for moving magnet (MM) cartridges directly into the BP-19. This phono stage is characterized by high precision, extremely low noise, minimal distortion, and sufficient headroom to avoid overload. For fans of moving coil (MC) cartridges, Bryston also offers specially designed step-up transformers.

Customizable Design

The BP-19 is available with 17 or 19-inch front panels, in silver or black finish. 19-inch rack mounting brackets are also offered for professional applications. Bryston goes further by offering the option to customize the color of the BP-19’s front panel and other devices from the brand, allowing for perfect integration into any space or decor.
