The HT-S2000 features a configuration of 5 active full-range speakers. Two speakers are placed at the ends of the bar, while a third is dedicated to reproducing the center channel. The remaining two speakers, located near the center, are optimized for low-frequency reproduction and benefit from a bass-reflex design. This setup allows the soundbar to deliver balanced and immersive sound, despite the absence of dedicated tweeters for high frequencies.

Power and Performance

Equipped with a 250-watt total power S-Master digital amplifier, the HT-S2000 offers powerful and dynamic sound reproduction. The two bass-reflex ports on the sides of the bar help extend the low-frequency response, compensating for the absence of an external subwoofer. The result is rich and balanced sound, capable of faithfully reproducing both dialogues and sound effects from movies and series.

The HT-S2000 offers several connection options to suit different setups. It features an HDMI eARC/ARC input, allowing for simple and quick connection with most modern TVs. A digital optical input is also available for older TVs. The soundbar also includes Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, enabling wireless music streaming from a smartphone or tablet.

The Night mode reduces dynamic range for discreet evening listening, while the Voice mode enhances dialogue clarity. A virtual sound field mode is also available to widen the stereo image. The soundbar is compatible with the Sony Home Entertainment app, allowing easy control and customization of sound settings.

System Expandability

Although the HT-S2000 is a standalone soundbar, it offers the possibility to expand its capabilities. It is compatible with Sony SA-SW5 and SA-SW3 wireless subwoofers, as well as SA-RS3S wireless surround speakers. This modularity allows users to gradually enhance their audio system for an even more immersive experience.
