Finally, mono mode offers the possibility of using two MA-1 amplifiers to separately power the drivers of a single speaker in a bi-wiring configuration. Oversized Power Supply for Flawless Performance

Each channel has its own toroidal transformer, for a total power of 1250VA. This symmetrical design eliminates interference between channels and ensures stable power delivery even during energy demand peaks. The independence of the power supplies also contributes to the excellent channel separation, measured at -120dB.

The filtering system is equally impressive, with 14 6800μF capacitors per channel, connected in parallel to achieve a total capacity of 190,000μF per channel. This approach, rather than using a single large-capacity capacitor, reduces internal resistance and improves the power supply’s responsiveness to high current demands. The result is a more dynamic and precise reproduction of musical transients.

Integration and Connectivity: Flexibility in the Service of Music

The MA-1 offers comprehensive connectivity that makes it easy to integrate into various setups. Stereo XLR and RCA inputs allow it to be connected to virtually any preamplifier, while a dedicated selector lets you choose between these two connection types.
