Clic Classic Series Model 12S
Overview
The Model 12S is a wall-mounted audio-video cabinet designed according to Danish design principles, favoring clean, functional integration. With a width of 102.4 cm, it is intended for wall mounting and is particularly suited to contemporary soundbars. Its structure allows for a full-width configuration or two separate compartments, to accommodate the characteristics and needs of different audio systems.
A modular design for the modern soundbar
The Model 12S stands out for its ability to adapt to a wide range of configurations. In soundbar configuration, the cabinet uses its entire internal width of 980 mm, creating a unified, perfectly sized space. Alternatively, it can be divided into two compartments of 482 mm each to house various audio-video equipment. This structural flexibility addresses the challenges posed by contemporary soundbars, whose dimensions often exceed traditional storage solutions.
Variable depth is a major advantage of this design. In open configuration, the internal depth reaches 205 mm in standard use or 168 mm in soundbar mode. With a door installed, these dimensions become 183.5 mm and 152 mm respectively. This dimensional adaptability optimizes available space according to the equipment installed, whether a compact soundbar or a larger system.
The removable back panels, attached by magnets 5 cm from the rear of the cabinet, simplify cable management while allowing you to use the full depth when necessary. Without these panels, usable depth extends to 254 mm in open configuration or 238 mm with a door, providing generous space for bulky equipment.
A wall-mounting system designed for stability
The Model 12S is designed exclusively for wall mounting and cannot be installed on aluminum feet or casters. This specificity reflects a design geared toward architectural integration rather than mobility.
The specially designed wall bracket secures the cabinet firmly against the wall with adjustment available on two levels. The system prevents any risk of falling or accidental lifting unless the fasteners are deliberately loosened. This enhanced safety is particularly important for a cabinet intended to support expensive audio equipment.
The structural design allows it to support heavy loads despite the absence of a fixed back panel. This robustness, achieved through Clic’s exclusive assembly technique, ensures the cabinet’s stability even when supporting the weight of a large soundbar.
Customizable finishes for every interior
Customization is a cornerstone of Clic’s philosophy. Painted finishes include white, black, gray, and light gray, while veneers are available in oak and walnut. This deliberately refined palette aligns with current Scandinavian design trends while remaining timeless.
The acoustically transparent fabric doors, available in 10 colors (charcoal, frost, coffee, black, dark blue, concrete, latte, basalt gray, white, and olive green), conceal equipment while allowing sound and infrared signals to pass through. This acoustic transparency eliminates the usual compromise between aesthetics and sound performance.
The cabinet can be configured in an open version to showcase equipment or fitted with a large door that opens downward. This single door, covering the full width of the cabinet, creates a uniform, particularly elegant facade when closed. The downward opening makes it easy to access front-mounted controls and connections.
Sophisticated cable management
The Model 12S features a centered cable pass-through in the top panel and another in the lower part of the cabinet. This standard configuration can be modified to order, with additional openings or complete removal depending on the specific needs of the installation.
Cable cover plates, machined from aluminum or brass and engraved with the discreet Clic logo, provide an elegant solution for cabling. Available in five different types and in silver, black, or brass finishes, they fit all models in the range.
The removable back panels include standard cable pass-throughs but can also be ordered without these openings for installations requiring a different routing approach. This modularity allows the cabinet to be precisely adapted to the technical configuration of each system.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the Model 12S be installed on feet or fixed to the floor?
No, this model is designed exclusively for wall mounting. The Model 12S cannot be mounted on aluminum feet or casters. This specific design ensures perfect wall integration and the clean aesthetic characteristic of Scandinavian design. For installations requiring a floor-standing solution, other models in the Classic Series are available.
How does the modular configuration system work?
The cabinet can be used either at full width to accommodate a soundbar or divided to create two separate compartments. This flexibility allows the cabinet to adapt as your audio system evolves. The two removable back panels make this reconfiguration easy without requiring structural modification.
Do the fabric doors really let sound pass without alteration?
The fabrics used are specially selected for their acoustic transparency. They allow sound to pass freely while visually concealing the equipment. Infrared signals from remote controls also pass through the fabric without issues, enabling you to control devices with the doors closed.
Is the cabinet delivered assembled or flat-packed?
Clic cabinets arrive fully assembled from the factory in Hornslet. This pre-assembled delivery ensures professional build quality and eliminates the risk of assembly errors. Only the installation of the wall bracket and mounting to the wall remain to be done.
