Each cabinet is assembled and then hand-painted at the Danish production facility, a process that ensures perfectly sharp edges and invisible joints. The water-based paint, applied after full assembly, provides a durable, resilient finish that retains its sheen over the years. This artisanal method, inherited from the manufacture of high-end loudspeakers for which the Hornslet factory was initially renowned, ensures a level of finish rarely achieved in contemporary furniture.

The three compartments of the Model 130 each offer generous space with an internal height of 162 mm and a width of 482 mm. Depth varies depending on the configuration: 314 mm for an open compartment (363 mm without the back plate), or 298 mm with a door (347 mm without the back plate). These dimensions have been meticulously calculated to accommodate most contemporary audio-video equipment, from turntables to amplifiers and game consoles.

Modularity and limitless customization

The true strength of the Model 130 lies in its ability to adapt precisely to each user’s needs. Each compartment can be configured independently: left open for direct access to equipment, closed with a wooden door for discreet storage, fitted with an acoustically transparent fabric door, or converted into a drawer for storing media or accessories.

The fabric doors, available in ten carefully selected colors—from deep charcoal to olive green, via delicate frost and warm coffee—enable extensive customization while preserving the transmission of infrared signals from remotes and acoustic dispersion. The fabric, specially developed for Clic, combines acoustic transparency and durability, with a factory-applied treatment that makes daily maintenance easier.

For lovers of natural veneers, the Model 130 comes in oak or walnut, two finishes that highlight the wood grain and add an organic touch to the whole. The painted finishes in white, black, gray, and light gray offer a sober, contemporary palette that blends seamlessly into any interior.

Revolutionary cable management

One of the major innovations of the Model 130 concerns cable management, a true bane for any hi-fi enthusiast. The cabinet integrates a sophisticated system of centered cable ports on the top and bottom plates, enabling invisible vertical routing of connections between different levels of equipment.

Magnetic back plates, positioned 5 cm from the rear of the cabinet, provide a particularly clever solution. They can be removed instantly to simplify installation or maintenance of equipment, then repositioned to conceal the technical background. These plates can be ordered with or without integrated cable ports, depending on the specific needs of each setup.

Optional cable covers, machined from aluminum or brass and available in silver, black, or brass finishes, add an extra touch of refinement. Five different types are offered, all engraved with a discreet Clic logo, a testament to attention to detail.

Stacking system

The Model 130 incorporates a remarkable technical feature: metal components concealed in the corners of the top plate that enable vertical stacking of multiple Clic cabinets using special magnetic feet. These feet, equipped with powerful neodymium magnets and machined from aluminum, create a 7 mm gap between stacked units, ensuring optimal ventilation while maintaining a perfectly cohesive appearance.

For the Model 130 with its three compartments, eight magnetic feet are required for stable stacking. This modular solution allows you to create custom configurations that evolve with your needs: adding a cabinet for vinyl storage, expanding for new equipment, or creating a complete multimedia library.

Clic’s solid-machined aluminum stands, equipped with adjustable feet, provide a perfectly stable and level floor installation.
