Clic Classic Series Model 130S
Overview
The Model 130S from Clic is an audio-video cabinet designed to organize equipment while maintaining a clean aesthetic. Standing 205 mm tall, it offers three distinct compartments and can accommodate either a soundbar or a traditional hi-fi system.
Handcrafted construction and unique assembly technique
The Model 130S showcases preserved artisanal know-how. Each unit is handmade following age-old principles, but with a remarkable technical feature: Clic uses an exclusive construction method that creates a stable frame without a fixed back panel. This structural feat delivers exceptional rigidity while making cable management and equipment ventilation easier.
Water-based paint is applied by hand after the cabinet is fully assembled. This meticulous step ensures perfectly sharp edges and invisible joints. Each piece undergoes individual quality control before leaving the workshop, ensuring impeccable consistency in production. The unit is delivered fully assembled, ready for immediate installation.
The exterior dimensions (height 205 mm, width 1522 mm, depth 375 mm) have been calculated to optimize integration into contemporary living spaces. The structure can support a considerable load, whether placed on the floor, mounted on aluminum feet, or wall-mounted using the dedicated wall mount system.
Ingenious modularity: three configurations in a single cabinet
The most innovative feature of the Model 130S lies in its ability to transform. The central divider bars are intentionally set back within the structure, creating unprecedented flexibility of use:
In soundbar configuration, the interior space offers a total width of 1478 mm with a depth varying from 217 mm to 314 mm depending on the area. This layout accommodates the most substantial soundbars on the market while leaving room for additional equipment.
In three-compartment configuration, each section measures 482 mm in width, enabling methodical organization of devices. An amplifier can occupy the central section while speakers can be placed on the sides, or vice versa depending on installation preferences.
The three removable back plates are held by magnets 5 cm from the rear of the cabinet. This calculated distance creates optimal airflow while effectively concealing cabling. The plates feature pre-cut openings for cable routing but can be ordered without perforations for a fully closed rear facade.
Cable management considered down to the last detail
The Model 130S cable management system goes beyond mere functionality to become a design element in its own right. A central cable pass-through on the top panel and another on the bottom allow orderly vertical routing of connections. These openings can be fitted with aluminum or brass cover plates, available in silver, black, or brass finishes, each subtly engraved with the Clic logo.
The option to order the unit without the top cable pass-through offers a completely smooth surface for setups that don’t require vertical connections. The magnetic rear plates provide immediate access to cables for any changes or maintenance, with no tools required.
Finishes and materials: the balance between tradition and modernity
The choice of materials reflects Clic’s commitment to lasting quality and local sourcing. All components are sourced in Denmark, continuing a tradition of full domestic production.
Paint finishes include four carefully selected shades: white, black, gray, and light gray. The water-based paint used offers durability, resistance, and color stability that exceed industrial standards. Real-wood veneers, available in oak or walnut, bring natural warmth and an authentic texture that improves over time.
The optional drop-down door can be clad in acoustic fabric or wood matched to the cabinet body. The fabrics offered in ten colors (Coal, Frost, Coffee, Black, Dark Blue, Concrete, Latte, Basalt Grey, White, Olive Green) not only personalize the look but also allow infrared signals from remote controls and sound from hidden speakers to pass through.
Complementary accessories: a coherent ecosystem
The aluminum feet are a particularly sophisticated accessory. Milled from a solid block of aluminum, they incorporate a height adjustment system for precise leveling on uneven floors. Available in silver or black finishes, a single set is sufficient for the entire cabinet; models requiring additional supports are supplied with the appropriate reinforcements.
The specifically developed wall mount allows adjustable installation ensuring perfect alignment. The system holds the cabinet as close to the wall as possible, creating an elegant floating installation that frees up floor space while making cleaning easier.
Aluminum or brass cable covers, available in five different models, fit seamlessly into all cabinets in the Clic range. This universal compatibility allows you to upgrade and expand your setup over time without aesthetic compromise.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the Model 130S really accommodate any soundbar on the market?
With its generous interior width of 1478 mm in soundbar configuration, the cabinet indeed accommodates the vast majority of available soundbars, including the largest models. The variable depth also allows you to adjust positioning according to each device’s acoustic characteristics.
How exactly does the magnetic rear plate system work?
The rear plates are held by powerful magnets integrated into the structure, positioned 5 cm from the back of the cabinet. This system lets you remove them instantly without tools to access cables, then put them back in place with a simple gesture. The space created between the plate and the back ensures constant airflow, essential for cooling electronic equipment.
Does the fabric door really let remote-control signals through?
The fabrics selected by Clic are specifically chosen for their transparency to infrared signals. You can therefore control your devices without opening the door, preserving the installation’s clean aesthetic. The fabric also allows sound to pass through without notable alteration, ideal for setups with hidden speakers.
Does the cabinet require assembly upon delivery?
No, this is one of Clic’s distinctive advantages: every Model 130S arrives fully assembled and finished. Only optional accessories such as the feet or the wall mount require installation, which is straightforward thanks to the detailed instructions provided.
Is the cabinet compatible with other units in the Clic range?
Absolutely. All Clic models share the same construction standards and accessories. Cable covers, mounts, and other elements are interchangeable, allowing you to create evolving configurations based on your needs.
