This width of 202 cm, unlike the more compact 152.2 cm models, offers an additional 50 cm of storage space, turning this unit into a true hub for the most ambitious hi-fi and home cinema setups. Introduced as part of a new generation of furniture with an unprecedented height of 26 cm, this model combines substantial storage capacity with a discreet visual profile.
Modular configuration and optimized dimensions
The Model 1540 features four compartments, each equipped with a shelf and a back panel. Each compartment can remain open or be fitted with a fabric or wooden door, but the model is not compatible with drawers.
The 16 mm thick shelves can be positioned at three different heights, and additional shelves can be ordered. This flexibility allows each compartment to be adapted to the specific dimensions of the equipment: amplifiers, CD players, turntables, game consoles, or streaming boxes.
Cable management designed down to the last detail
Cable management is a major challenge in any sophisticated audio-video setup. The Model 1540 includes a centered cable grommet on the top panel and another on the lower section. Additional cable grommets can be added on the top panel, or the unit can be ordered with no cable grommets at all, depending on your needs.
The back panels are mounted 5 cm from the rear of the unit and attached with magnets, making them easily removable. These panels include cable grommets but can also be ordered without openings. This clever system allows cables to be completely concealed while maintaining easy access for changes or maintenance.
Aluminum or brass cable covers are available in five different models, compatible with all Clic furniture. Available in silver, black, or brass, they feature a discreet Clic logo engraving. For installations requiring few cables between the screen and the unit, a more compact 1.8 cm x 3.3 cm duct is available in lengths of 15, 20, and 25 cm.
Finishes and materials: total customization
The Model 1540 is available in white, black, grey, or light grey paint, as well as oak or walnut veneer. Fabric doors come in ten colors: charcoal, frost, coffee, black, dark blue, concrete, latte, basalt grey, white, and olive green.
The paint used is water-based, durable, and hard-wearing. After the unit is assembled, the paint is applied by hand to achieve a flawless finish with crisp edges. This meticulous attention to detail ensures exceptional visual and tactile quality, characteristic of Danish craftsmanship.
