A distinctive technical design

The Model 131S stands out thanks to a unique assembly technique that delivers a stable structure without relying on a fixed back panel. This engineering feat, stemming from the expertise developed at the Hornslet factory, offers several practical benefits. Usable depth is maximized, airflow is optimized, and cable access is greatly simplified.

The cabinet’s external dimensions (152.2 cm wide, 20.5 cm high, 45.5 cm deep) reflect a desire for visual discretion while still providing a generous footprint. Its low height allows you to position your screen at a comfortable viewing level, while the 45.5 cm depth easily accommodates most AV components on the market.

The cable management system has been meticulously thought out. A central opening runs through the top panel to route cables down from the TV, while three lower passages make it easy to connect sources and peripherals. You can also order the cabinet without the top cable pass-through if your setup doesn’t require it, underscoring the attention paid to each user’s specific needs.

Modularity serving your equipment

Versatility is the Model 131S’s greatest strength. You can use it in two fundamentally different ways. In soundbar configuration, the three rear panels are removed, creating a single compartment 147.8 cm wide—ideal for large soundbars. In this setup, the internal depth reaches 39.4 cm (or 44.3 cm without the rear panel), sufficient for the majority of models on the market.

Alternatively, by keeping the rear panels, you create three distinct compartments, each 48.2 cm wide. This layout is perfect for distributing multiple components: amplifier, network player, game console, or any other device. Each compartment then offers a depth of 39.4 cm, reduced to 37.8 cm if you opt to add a door.

The rear panels deserve special mention. Attached by magnets 5 cm from the back of the cabinet, they can be removed in seconds without tools. They feature pre-cut openings for cable routing but can also be ordered solid if you prefer to manage your cabling differently. This magnetic approach avoids visible screws and lets you reorganize your setup over time with no constraints.

The cabinet can remain open for immediate access to your gear, or it can be fitted with a single large door that opens downward. This door, available in fabric or wood, elegantly conceals the electronics while allowing remote-control signals to pass through the textile. Note that the 131S cannot accommodate drawers—a deliberate design choice to preserve its low, streamlined profile.

Finishes and customization options

Clic offers the Model 131S in a restrained yet carefully curated palette. Four water-based paint colors are available: white, black, grey, and light grey. Applied by hand after the cabinet is assembled, this paint ensures crisp edges and color stability over time. Beyond its eco-friendly credentials, the water-based finish provides superior resistance and durability compared to traditional lacquers.

For those who prefer the warmth of wood, two veneers are offered: oak and walnut. These natural species add an organic touch to the minimalist Scandinavian design while preserving the manufacturing precision that defines the brand.

If you choose to equip your 131S with a fabric door, ten color options are available: Coal, Frost, Coffee, Black, Dark Blue, Concrete, Latte, Basalt Grey, White, and Olive Green. These fabrics are selected for their ability to let infrared remote-control signals pass through, allowing you to harmonize the cabinet with your decor without sacrificing functionality.

Cable grommets, available in aluminum or brass with silver, black, or brass finishes, add a refined touch. Discreetly engraved with the Clic logo, they turn cable pass-throughs into thoughtful design details rather than obvious technical necessities.

Installation and complementary accessories

The Model 131S can be placed directly on the floor, set on aluminum feet, or wall-mounted using the dedicated bracket. The aluminum feet, machined from solid, are height-adjustable and available in silver or black finishes. Raising the cabinet makes cleaning easier and creates a sense of visual lightness, enhancing the Scandinavian aesthetic.

The Clic wall bracket enables secure, adjustable mounting, with the ability to fine-tune the level after installation to ensure perfect alignment, even on walls that aren’t perfectly straight. The cabinet then sits as close to the wall as possible, maximizing floor space and reinforcing visual integration.

The 131S is also designed to stack with other Clic modules using specific magnetic feet. This vertical modularity opens creative possibilities for building custom configurations that can evolve alongside your setup.
