Model 1531 from the Classic Series is a low-profile audio-video unit that stands out for its generous width and three-compartment layout. With its compact height and 45.5 cm depth, it fits into environments where vertical space is limited, while offering well-designed storage capacity for a hi-fi system, TV, or soundbar.

A low profile that broadens possibilities

Model 1531 introduces a height of 26 cm, an unprecedented dimension in the Clic range. This restrained height allows the unit to be placed beneath a wall-mounted TV or for several units to be stacked without cluttering the space vertically. The 152.2 cm width provides three spacious compartments, each equipped with an adjustable shelf.

The 45.5 cm depth strikes a thoughtful balance: sufficient to accommodate most hi-fi and home cinema equipment, yet measured enough not to protrude excessively into the room. Each open compartment offers 216 mm of internal height, 482 mm of width, and 394 mm of depth. When the back panels are removed, the usable depth increases to 443 mm, allowing for larger components.

Thoughtful modularity and cable management

The 1531’s modular design is based on a system of removable, magnet-fixed rear panels positioned 5 cm from the back of the unit. This layout creates concealed space for cables while allowing quick removal when you need to access your setup. Cable ports integrated into the top and bottom make it easy to route connections neatly.

You can order the unit without the top cable port if your configuration doesn’t require one. The interior shelves can be set at three different heights to suit your needs, and additional shelves can be added later to refine the organization.

Each compartment can remain open or be fitted with a door, either in acoustically transparent fabric or in wood. The doors open downward, maintaining accessibility while visually concealing the contents. Note, however: this model does not accept drawers, and it is not designed to house a soundbar inside—the S models in the range are the only ones that support this specific configuration.

A stable structure without a fixed back panel

The key technical hallmark of Clic furniture lies in its construction method: a craft-based technique that ensures structural stability without relying on a fixed back panel. This approach frees up space and greatly simplifies access to connections. Manufacturing takes place entirely in Denmark at the Hornslet factory, also known for producing high-end loudspeakers with impeccable finishes.

Each unit is hand-painted after assembly, ensuring crisp edges and perfectly sealed joints. This attention to finishing details guarantees a uniform, refined appearance from every viewing angle.

Finishes and customization

Model 1531 is available in paint (white, black, grey, light grey) or wood veneer (oak, walnut). The paint used is water-based, durable, and resilient, applied by hand to achieve a flawless surface. Fabric doors are available in ten colors: Charcoal, Frost, Coffee, Black, Dark Blue, Concrete, Latte, Basalt Grey, White, and Olive Green. This wide palette lets you harmonize the unit with any interior, from the most minimal to the warmest.

Accessories and installation options

Clic offers a full range of accessories compatible with model 1531. Aluminum or brass cable covers, available in silver, black, or brass, feature a discreetly engraved Clic logo and fit all models in the brand. The aluminum feet, machined from a single piece of metal, raise the unit and are height-adjustable. A single set of feet is sufficient per unit. These feet come in silver or black finishes.

For wall-mounting, the Clic wall bracket provides secure, adjustable fixation. It allows you to align the unit perfectly and mount it flush against the wall, creating a particularly elegant floating appearance. The 1531’s load capacity is designed to support heavy equipment, whether the unit sits on the floor or is mounted on the wall.

A range designed for combination

Model 1531 is part of a range of 73 different models, offered in four depths, five widths, and five heights. Metal components concealed in the corners of the top panel allow multiple units to be stacked using magnetic feet. This modularity opens up near-infinite possibilities for creating bespoke solutions tailored precisely to your space and equipment.

The 1531 can be combined with other models of different depths (26.5 cm, 37.5 cm, or 55 cm) or varying heights, creating customized setups that evolve with your needs. This approach avoids obsolescence: instead of replacing all your furniture when you change equipment, you simply add the necessary modules.
