Overview
Clic’s Model 221-2 is a two-compartment audio-video cabinet that reconciles aesthetics and functionality. Handmade in Denmark, this modular unit features a particularly refined cable management system, magnetically mounted removable back panels, and a construction without a fixed back panel that ensures rigidity and stability. Available in multiple finishes (paint, wood veneers, fabric doors), it adapts to your precise needs while offering the possibility to be floor-standing, wall-mounted, or stacked with other modules.
A modular structure designed to evolve with your needs
The Model 221-2 consists of two identical compartments, each equipped with an adjustable shelf and a removable back panel. This setup can be customized: open compartments, wood or fabric doors, or drawers (up to two per compartment).
The 16 mm thick shelves can be set at three different heights, allowing you to tailor the interior space to your devices. Additional shelves are available as options. Internal dimensions vary slightly depending on the configuration: 482 mm in width, 394 mm in depth for the open version (378 mm with door), 322 mm in height.
One of the major advantages lies in the system’s ability to evolve. Thanks to magnetic feet equipped with neodymium magnets, modules can be stacked. Each cabinet incorporates hidden metal pieces in the corners of the top panel that magnetize to the feet of the stacked module. This solution creates a 7 mm spacing and allows you to create custom setups. For the Model 221-2, six magnetic feet are required.
A particularly advanced cable management system
The cabinet includes two cable passages: a centered hole on the top panel and a second at the base. It can be ordered without the top hole if your setup allows.
The back panels, mounted 5 cm from the rear with a magnetic system, can be easily removed to access connections while concealing cables once replaced. They also feature a cable opening but can be ordered without a hole. This magnetic mounting is a Clic hallmark: it results from a specific manufacturing technique that ensures a very precise finish while offering true modularity.
To complete the setup, aluminum or brass cable cover plates (silver, black, or brass finishes) dress the cable passages and feature the brand’s discreet engraved logo. Five different types are available, compatible with all models in the range.
Danish craftsmanship with impeccable finishes
All Clic cabinets are designed, manufactured, and assembled by hand in Denmark. Materials come from carefully selected local suppliers, ensuring strict quality control at every stage.
The construction uses a special technique that achieves a stable frame without a fixed back panel. This method provides optimal strength and high load capacity, whether the cabinet is floor-standing, wall-mounted, or stacked.
After assembly, each cabinet is hand-painted with a water-based polyurethane paint that is durable and colorfast. This manual application ensures crisp edges and perfectly sealed joints. Available colors are white, black, grey, and light grey. Oak or walnut veneers are also offered.
Fabric doors are another option. They fully conceal your equipment while allowing infrared signals from remote controls to pass through. Ten colors are available: Coal, Frost, Coffee, Black, Dark Blue, Concrete, Latte, Basalt Grey, White, and Olive Green.
Accessories to complete the installation
The Model 221-2 can be installed in three ways. For floor use, machined one-piece aluminum feet are available in silver or black finishes, equipped with adjustable glides. For wall mounting, an adjustable bracket allows a flush installation against the wall. When stacking multiple cabinets, if the lower module is wall-mounted, Clic recommends securing all upper modules as well.
Please note: the standard Model 221-2 is not suitable for integrating a soundbar inside. Only the S versions in the range provide the necessary space for this function.

Can the back panels be completely removed to gain depth?
Yes, the back panels are removable thanks to their magnetic mounting. By removing them, you gain approximately 49 mm of usable depth per compartment, increasing the total depth to 443 mm instead of 394 mm. This option is particularly useful if you need to accommodate bulkier equipment or want to simplify access to rear connections.
How do the fabric doors work with remote controls?
Clic’s fabric doors allow infrared signals from remote controls to pass through without needing to open them. You can therefore operate your audio-video equipment even when it is concealed behind the doors. This feature lets you enjoy a closed, minimalist cabinet while maintaining everyday ease of use.
Can the cabinet support the weight of a TV or heavy equipment?
