Overview
Clic’s Classic Series Model 241 offers a modular storage solution for hi-fi and home theater equipment. With its four configurable compartments, this 202 cm-wide Danish cabinet combines practicality and minimalist aesthetics thanks to multiple customization options and an ingenious cable management system.
Modularity and adaptability
The Model 241 consists of four identical compartments, each equipped with a shelf adjustable to three positions and a magnet-mounted back panel. You can leave the compartments open, close them with wooden doors, or opt for fabric doors available in ten different colors. Each compartment can also accommodate two drawers for storing vinyl records, CDs, or other media.
The 16 mm-thick shelves support heavy equipment, and their adjustable positioning lets you set the height to suit your needs. The internal dimensions of an open compartment are 322 mm high, 482 mm wide, and 394 mm deep (443 mm without the back panel). With a door, the depth is reduced to 378 mm to accommodate the opening mechanism.
A meticulously designed cabling system
A centered cable port on the top panel and three openings at the bottom back facilitate cable routing. The back panels, mounted 5 cm from the rear, create a concealed space for cables. Fixed with magnets, they can be removed without tools, simplifying installation or reconfiguring your setup.
Clic offers aluminum or brass cable covers, available in silver, black, or brass finishes, each discreetly engraved with the brand’s logo. These details reflect the attention paid to the overall design, even on elements that are usually overlooked.
Finishes and customization
The Model 241 is available in matte paints (white, black, gray, light gray) and wood veneers (oak, walnut). The water-based paint is applied by hand after assembly, ensuring crisp edges and perfectly sealed joints.
The fabric doors, available in ten colors (Coal, Frost, Coffee, Black, Dark Blue, Concrete, Latte, Basalt Grey, White, Olive Green), allow infrared signals from remote controls to pass through. Wooden doors offer a more classic look with full concealment.
Clic Alu Stands, machined from a solid block of aluminum, feature adjustable feet to compensate for floor irregularities. Available in black or silver, they complement all finishes. For wall mounting, the Clic Wall Bracket secures the unit with two levels of adjustment.
Danish craftsmanship
Each unit is handcrafted in Denmark using a specific technique that provides a stable structure without a fixed back panel. This approach gives the Model 241 exceptional rigidity capable of supporting significant weight, whether on the floor or mounted on the wall.
Hand painting after assembly ensures sharp edge joints, eliminating the typical imperfections of flat-pack furniture. Materials are sourced exclusively from Denmark, selected from carefully chosen subcontractors. The Hornslet factory, renowned for manufacturing high-end loudspeakers, applies the same precision standards to Clic furniture.
