Clic’s Model 241 large offers a modular solution for those looking to organize their audio-video system in a Danish-designed cabinet. With its three adjustable compartments spanning a width of 202 cm, this unit conceals speakers, amplifiers, and cables behind acoustically transparent fabric or wood doors, while preserving sound quality.

Handcrafted manufacturing that makes a difference

Each Model 241 large is made to order in Clic’s Danish workshops. The process begins with a rigorous selection of local materials, followed by manufacturing in 16 mm MDF. The distinctive feature lies in a patented construction technique that creates a stable frame without a permanent fixed back panel. This method gives the cabinet remarkable robustness while offering flexibility for cable management.

Once assembled, the unit receives a water-based paint finish applied entirely by hand. This meticulous step ensures perfectly sealed joints and crisp edges, showcasing artisanal craftsmanship. Every cabinet undergoes strict quality control before shipping, ensuring that doors and drawers align exactly to the customer’s specifications.

Three compartments for tailored organization

The Model 241 large consists of three identical compartments, each equipped to hold a shelf adjustable to three different heights. The 16 mm-thick shelves support substantial weight thanks to the cabinet’s reinforced structure. Additional shelves can be ordered to further divide the storage space to suit your needs.

Each compartment offers approximately 32 cm of internal height and 64.8 cm of width, creating sufficiently spacious areas to accommodate most amplifiers, network players, turntables, or gaming consoles. Depth varies by configuration: 39.4 cm for an open compartment, reduced to 37.8 cm with a mounted door. By removing the magnetic back panel, depth increases to 44.3 cm or 42.7 cm, respectively.

A thoughtful cable management system

The Model 241 large incorporates two strategically positioned cable ports: one in the center of the top panel and another at the bottom of the unit. This layout facilitates vertical routing of cables between different devices. On request, the cabinet can be configured with additional pass-throughs or, conversely, with no opening on the top panel for a cleaner look.

The magnetic back panels are the core element of this system. Positioned 5 cm from the rear edge of the cabinet, they can be easily removed thanks to their magnetic attachment, allowing quick access to connections. These panels feature cable pass-throughs but can also be ordered without these openings if you prefer a different solution.

For an elegant cable exit from the cabinet, Clic offers five cable cover models in aluminum or brass, available in silver, black, or brass. Each cover discreetly bears the engraved Clic logo.

Complete finish customization

The Model 241 large is available in six finishes for wood surfaces: four paints (white, black, grey, light grey) and two wood veneers (oak, walnut). The water-based paint is resistant to wear and UV rays, while maintaining its color over time.

For the doors, the choice extends to ten colors of acoustic fabric: Coal, Frost, Coffee, Black, Dark Blue, Concrete, Latte, Basalt Grey, White, and Olive Green. These fabrics let sound pass without noticeable alteration, allowing speakers to be concealed while preserving acoustic performance. Doors can also be made in wood to match the cabinet, or certain compartments can remain open to create a visual interplay between closed and exposed spaces.

Three adaptable installation modes

The Model 241 large can be installed in three ways, each benefiting from the same high load capacity thanks to the robust construction.

Floor installation offers the simplest solution, with the cabinet resting directly on its base. To elevate it for easier cleaning or a more airy aesthetic, one-piece aluminum feet are available. Each foot includes height adjustments to compensate for uneven floors. A single set of feet is sufficient regardless of the cabinet’s width, with additional supports provided if needed depending on the model. The feet are available in silver or black finishes.

Wall mounting is carried out via a dedicated bracket that allows the cabinet to sit flush against the wall. The system offers level and depth adjustments, ensuring a perfectly aligned and secure installation even with heavy loads.
