Unnu Classic Series Model 210

The Model 210 LP from Unnu is part of the Classic series, a range of audio-video furniture designed in Denmark. This model stands out with a specific cutout on its top surface, designed to hold around sixty records upright, while retaining the features specific to the Unnu range: cable management, removable rear panel, and adjustable shelf.

A robust design in 16 mm MDF

The Model 210 LP is made from 16 mm thick painted MDF. Each compartment of the unit is reinforced by four specially designed metal corners positioned at the back. This construction gives the whole piece notable sturdiness despite a controlled weight. The paint used is a polyurethane coating, known for its resistance to wear and long-lasting color stability.

The unit is available in four finishes: white lacquer, black lacquer, oak veneer, or walnut veneer. Wood doors and drawers follow the same finish options. For fabric doors, nine colors are available, split into two series: Melange (coal, concrete, frost, coffee, latte) and Basic (white, silver, black, grey).

The vinyl cutout and its protective aluminum edges

The distinctive feature of the LP model lies in the cutout on the top surface. It allows you to place records upright, making it easier to browse your collection while protecting the sleeves. On each side of this cutout, an aluminum edge protects the rim of the unit from wear caused by repeated handling. These edges are a technical detail that extends the lifespan of the furniture while contributing to its clean, minimalist aesthetics.

The records rest on a non-slip mat to prevent sliding. The stated capacity is around 60 records, suitable for a personal collection or a rotating selection. The compartment can remain open or be fitted with a fabric or wood door, allowing the unit’s appearance to be tailored to preference.

Magnetic rear panel and cable management

The rear panel of the Model 210 LP is positioned 5 cm from the back of the unit, creating space for routing and concealing cables. This panel is secured with magnets, allowing it to be removed easily to access wiring without dismantling the unit. Two holes are provided for cable routing: one centered on the top panel, the other on the bottom panel. This layout enables vertical connection between stacked units or simply discreet cable routing.

Unnu also offers five types of aluminum cable cover plates, engraved with a discreet logo, available in silver or black. These accessories complete cable management by providing a neat finish at cable exits.

An adjustable shelf with three positions

The unit includes an adjustable shelf that can be placed at three different heights. This modularity allows you to tailor the interior space to the equipment being installed: amplifier, phono preamplifier, game console, or any other device. Additional shelves can be ordered separately to increase storage options.

Depending on the chosen shelf position, free space remains underneath, which can be used to store other products or accessories. This flexibility makes the Model 210 LP a unit that adapts to different uses over time.

Compatibility with Unnu accessories

The Model 210 LP can be floor-standing or wall-mounted using accessories designed by Unnu. The floor feet are machined from solid aluminum and feature adjustable leveling screws to fine-tune the height and compensate for uneven floors. They are available in silver or black finishes.

For wall installation, Unnu offers wall mounts that allow the unit to be fixed flush to the wall. These mounts can be leveled and ensure a firm hold. This wall-mounting option can be relevant in tight spaces or to create a modular setup by stacking multiple units.
