The Elements range from Sonorous is based on a simple principle: allowing everyone to build their cabinet according to their equipment needs. This EX10 model, in an all-black finish with dual drawers, represents the most understated configuration in the series. Two compartments, two drawers, 130 cm wide: the compact and versatile format that fits into most living spaces.

A modular system designed for hi-fi and home theater equipment

The Elements concept stands out for its customization logic. The EX10-DD-BLK-BLK-2-A reference breaks down as follows: EX10 indicates the 130 cm wide model, DD signals the presence of two drawers, BLK-BLK corresponds to the combination of a black body and black glass front, 2 denotes the two compartments, and A specifies that this is a standalone configuration (not laterally extendable). Other versions exist in the same range with flap doors, acoustic fabric for soundbars, or drawer-and-door combinations.

The drawer system provides front access to stored equipment. Compared with flap-door versions, this configuration is better suited to organizing accessories, remote controls, or small devices rather than installing bulky electronics such as a home theater amplifier. The drawers have a limited height, which can be a problem with some thick DVD or Blu-ray cases.

Tempered glass and aluminum: a robust construction

The top panel and fronts use tempered glass, a heat treatment that increases impact resistance by a factor of four compared with ordinary glass. In the event of breakage, the glass shatters into small granular pieces rather than sharp shards. A protective coating reduces fingerprints and stains on the glass and aluminum surfaces.

The edges and base are made of aluminum, ensuring the rigidity of the whole while keeping the weight down to 47.5 kg. Load capacity reaches 50 kg on the top panel, enough for the 42 to 55 inch televisions this cabinet is designed for. The rear panels and internal partitions are perforated to facilitate cable routing and equipment ventilation.

Built-in remote control repeater

An infrared repeater system is integrated into the cabinet. It includes eight emitters (six of 2 meters and two of 4 meters) that allow devices stored in the drawers to be controlled without having to open them. Remote control signals pass through the front thanks to this device. One limitation to note: the system is not compatible with CanalSat decoders, which use a different protocol.

All-black finish

The BLK-BLK version combines a black body with a black glass front. The result is a sober monochrome unit, suited to contemporary interiors where the cabinet should fade into the background behind the television. The reflections of the glass vary depending on the ambient lighting. The Elements range offers many other combinations of colors and materials (white, gray, cappuccino, graphite, dark blue, red, copper, Amazone wood) for those looking for contrast or a different integration.

The cabinet measures 130 cm wide, 49 cm high, and 50 cm deep. These dimensions allow most common home theater equipment to be placed in the two compartments. The 50 cm depth leaves space behind the devices for cabling and air circulation.

The product is delivered assembled. The box measures 142 × 56.5 × 57 cm for a gross weight of 55 kg, which requires two people for handling. A TV mount can be added as an option to attach the television to the cabinet rather than simply placing it on top.
