A mounting system that eliminates tools

The PRO-10-GS uses a quarter-turn twist-lock mechanism. Once the stake is driven into the ground, the speaker clips on with a 45° turn and locks automatically. No drill, no hardware to dig out of the toolbox. A directional arrow engraved on the stake precisely indicates the satellite’s orientation, making it easier to adjust the sound coverage area before even attaching the speaker.

For high-traffic environments (restaurant terraces, public gardens, condo properties), a locking screw allows the satellite to be permanently secured to its mount. This added security prevents any accidental or malicious removal.

Construction built for the elements

The stake is molded from ABS reinforced with 25% fiberglass, a material commonly used in equipment designed for outdoor use. This composite resists impacts, does not rust, and withstands temperature variations without warping. The 7-inch galvanized steel safety plate is driven below ground level to firmly anchor the whole assembly and prevent tipping, even in loose soil or ground subject to frost.

The matte brown finish blends into most planted landscapes. For installations that require deeper integration, the ABS can be painted, allowing the stake to match the surrounding tones (mulch, soil, rock gardens).

Which satellite for which stake?

Klipsch offers two stake lengths in its Pro Series range: the PRO-10-GS (10 inches) and the PRO-18-GS (18 inches). The PRO-10-GS is recommended for the PRO-500T-LS, a compact 5-inch satellite. The longer PRO-18-GS is suited to the PRO-650T-LS (6.5 inches), whose size and weight require deeper anchoring. In practice, the choice also depends on the type of soil: very loose ground or wind-exposed areas may sometimes justify choosing the long version, even with a lightweight satellite.

In use: speed and discretion

Installing a landscape audio system takes time when you have to dig, pour concrete, or handle complex fasteners. With the PRO-10-GS, setup comes down to driving in the stake, fitting the speaker, and checking the orientation. On a project with several satellites distributed throughout a garden, the time savings are significant.

Once installed, the stake almost completely disappears below ground level. Only the mounting head remains visible, covered by the base of the satellite. The assembly remains accessible for any future repositioning or replacement of the satellite without having to dig up the stake.
