Overview
Two 65-inch televisions, their stands, their remote controls and the accompanying cables all fit into a single wheeled case. This multi-ply plywood flight case transports the screens upright, secured in foam, with a separate compartment for the rest of the equipment. The structure is made of multi-ply plywood: thin sheets of wood glued together with alternating grain directions, which absorb impacts and resist warping far better than a chipboard panel. The black panels are edged with aluminium angle profiles, with reinforced corners, giving the case its black and silver finish. Each corner has a metal ball-type protector. These rounded corners absorb knocks during loading and also allow several cases to be stacked in a truck or storeroom.
Four butterfly latches lock the case shut. Their handles fold flat once turned, leaving nothing protruding that could snag a strap or a neighbouring flight case during transport.
Two upright screens and a compartment for the rest
The two televisions travel vertically, in the position manufacturers recommend for moving a flat screen to prevent stress on the panel. Dense foam blocks hold them in place and keep them apart. A removable wooden divider separates a dedicated accessory compartment: detached stands, remote controls, HDMI cables and power cables, small screws and fixings. Removing this divider frees up space when the additional equipment takes up more room.

Two have brakes, allowing the flight case to be held stationary on a loading dock, a ramp or inside a van while the rest of the load is strapped down. On level ground, one person can push it easily. Standing on its castors, with a depth of 462 mm, it passes through a standard doorway in the direction of travel.
