Vogel's TVM 3845
Dual-arm full-motion TV wall mount
Mounted flat against the wall, a 75- or 85-inch TV is only really easy to watch from the sofa. This dual-arm wall mount makes the screen movable: it extends away from the wall, swivels towards the dining table or reading corner, tilts to eliminate a reflection, then returns to within a few centimetres of the wall. It supports TVs from 55 to 100 inches weighing up to 55 kg. It is the most robust model in the Comfort series from Vogel’s.
Two long arms to position large screens
Swivelling a large TV requires space: the wider the panel, the sooner its edges touch the wall. Vogel’s has therefore equipped this mount with extra-long arms that extend the screen up to 669 mm from the wall. At this distance, rotation reaches 180° for many of the supported sizes. With the largest screens, the actual available angle decreases, as the screen’s width eventually brings it into contact with the wall. When folded, the mount brings the TV back to 60 mm from the wall, a discreet projection for times when the screen remains facing the room.
Three pivot points distributed along the arms provide this range of movement, while up to 10° of tilt completes the adjustments. This is useful when the TV is mounted fairly high, above a piece of furniture or a fireplace, or to reduce reflections from a window opposite.
For mounting, the bracket supports VESA hole spacings from 100 × 100 to 600 × 400 mm. VESA spacing refers to the distance between the four threaded holes on the back of the TV, and the vast majority of models of this size fall within this range.
Smooth movement, adjustable after installation
Moving 50 kg at the end of an articulated arm should not require effort. Vogel’s One-Finger Movement system uses bearings and reinforced steel pivots that let you glide the screen into its new position with your fingertips, then hold it there without dropping or drifting.
Horizontal and vertical alignment can be corrected once the TV is mounted, without dismantling anything. This is useful because, across a two-metre panel, a drill hole offset by a few millimetres is immediately noticeable. The supplied clips guide cables along the arms, from the TV to the wall, so they follow the movements without dangling or getting caught in the joints.
Guided installation, from drilling template to spirit level
The box contains everything needed to install the mount without searching for specialist tools: a drilling template to place against the wall, a spirit level, an Allen key, a TV mounting kit and a wall mounting kit with fischer DuoPower wall plugs. Vogel’s also provides access to its DrillRight app, which turns a smartphone into a level for drilling straight. Soft pads fit onto the back of the TV to protect it from contact with the frame.
An arm extended nearly 70 cm from the wall exerts considerable leverage on the fixings, far greater than the weight of the TV alone. A solid concrete or brick wall is therefore the safest mounting surface. For a timber stud wall, Vogel’s offers the TVA 6950 adapter. With a large screen, two people are needed to hang the TV on the mount.
Tested strength and a published environmental assessment
Vogel’s subjects this mount to tests that go beyond everyday use: a load three times the stated maximum, or 165 kg, and 5,000 full rotations to check that movement remains smooth over time. The mount is certified by TÜV, an independent testing organisation, and covered by a 10-year warranty.
The brand also publishes an environmental product declaration (EPD), a standardised document that quantifies the impact across the entire life cycle: 22.1 kg of CO₂ equivalent for this model, which is 99% recyclable.
Vogel’s accessories for a tidy installation
The TVA 6000 cable cover, in black or white, groups the cables between the mount and the furniture or wall socket, where the supplied clips end. The TVA 6301 rear cover, in anthracite, conceals the mount’s frame, which becomes visible as soon as the screen swivels. The SOUND 3550 mount holds a soundbar weighing up to 6.5 kg beneath the TV.

Frequently asked questions
Will a 100-inch TV be able to swivel 180°?
No, not entirely. The rotation angle depends on the width of the screen: a 100-inch screen is approximately 2.20 m wide, and its edges hit the wall sooner than those of a 65-inch screen. The position of the mount on the wall also plays a role. When installed near a corner of the room, its range of motion is reduced on the side facing the corner.
How can I check if my TV's VESA mounting pattern is compatible?
Measure the distance between the threaded holes on the back of the TV, horizontally then vertically, or check the value in its manual. Supported hole spacings are 100 × 100, 100 × 200, 200 × 100, 200 × 200, 200 × 300, 300 × 200, 300 × 300, 400 × 200, 400 × 300, 400 × 400 and 600 × 400 mm. Hole spacings of 600 × 200, 600 × 300 and those starting with 500 mm are not included in this list.
Can the mount be attached to a plasterboard wall?
Plasterboard alone cannot withstand the forces exerted by a loaded and extended articulated arm. The mount must be secured to a load-bearing element. For timber stud walls, the TVA 6950 adapter is suitable for this application. For metal stud partitions, have a professional approve the installation before drilling.
At what height should the bracket be mounted?
For a seated position, the centre of the screen is generally placed at eye level, around one to 1.2 metres from the floor depending on the height of the sofa. If the TV needs to be higher, the 10° tilt angles the picture downwards and reduces neck discomfort.
Can you add a soundbar?
Yes, with the SOUND 3550 mount, which supports a soundbar weighing up to 6.5 kg. The weight of the TV and the soundbar are combined: the total must remain below the mount’s 55 kg weight limit.
Can the TV sit almost flush against the wall?
When folded, the mount positions the back of the TV 60 mm from the wall. Check that this space is sufficient for cables connected at the back, especially if the HDMI ports face the wall. Cables with right-angle plugs free up a few centimetres.
