Spectral Cinema CI3150
Ultra-short-throw projector cabinet
Projecting a 120-inch image in a living room often means living with a large white screen on the wall. Here, everything fits into a low cabinet 3.14 m wide: the ultra-short-throw projector sits on a shelf in the center, while the screen rises out of the top at the start of the film and lowers back into its housing at the end. The rest of the time, the room retains a cabinet with glass or fabric fronts and storage for electronics.
A 120-inch screen that rises out of the cabinet for viewing
An ultra-short-throw projector sits just a few centimeters from the projection surface and projects its image upward at a very wide angle. In the Cinema CI3150, the 91.4 cm-wide central module combines the shelf supporting the projector and the screen housing. This shelf is fixed as standard. An optional motorized shelf extends forward by around 29 cm to position the lens for projection. At the start of the viewing session, the motorized screen rises above the cabinet. Once the film is over, the screen retracts into its housing, the motorized shelf slides back, and the cabinet returns to its 58 cm depth.
The screen is sold separately. The housing accommodates two Lumene models, in 270C or 300C sizes: the Lumene Eden UHD 4K/8K Platinum and the Lumene Eden extra bright UST. The choice between the two depends mainly on the light in the room during viewing.
Two side units for the amplifier, sources, and cables
On either side of the central module, two 111.3 cm-wide units house the system’s electronics: home theater amplifier, player, console, and the cables that connect to the projector without running along the wall. Each unit closes with glass drop-down doors, acoustic fabric drop-down doors, or glass drawers. The acoustic fabric lets sound through, allowing speakers to be housed behind the front, just below the image, where the ear expects a film’s voices to come from. The glass drop-down doors are better suited to an electronics compartment, while the drawers keep remote controls, controllers, and discs within easy reach.
Solid-colored glass, metallic glass, or fabric, and four ways to support the cabinet
The glass fronts have a glossy finish. The solid-colored glass is available in 13 shades, including neutrals such as snow white, pebble, granite, and black, as well as some bolder colors such as cobalt, powder pink, and burgundy. The metallic glass is available in five shades, including champagne, basalt, and slate gray. The acoustic fabric comes in silver, gray, pebble, carbon, and black.
The way a cabinet of this length meets the floor makes a big difference to its silhouette, and a choice of two solutions is included. The Puck glides, small adjustable 2.5 cm plastic supports, level the cabinet and make it appear to sit on the floor, with a total height of 29.1 cm. The black Edge legs, which can be lacquered, raise it by 13 cm and give it a floating look, for a height of 39.6 cm. As an option, the Base plinth is a recessed MDF base that lets the cabinet float just above the floor at the same height as the glides, while the Frame base, a continuous 13 cm metal frame that can also be lacquered, matches the height of the Edge legs.
Measure the wall and floor before ordering
The cabinet alone measures 314 cm wide and 58 cm deep. Installation requires at least 3.20 m of clear wall space and a gap of 3 to 4 cm between the back of the cabinet and the wall. With the optional motorized shelf, the depth increases to around 87 cm when the shelf is extended, giving a footprint of nearly 91 cm including the gap from the wall: a figure to bear in mind if there is a coffee table or walkway in front.
For a shorter wall, the Spectral Cinema CI2700 features the same fronts and bases in a width of 269 cm, with a 100-inch screen (254 cm diagonal).

Frequently asked questions
Which projector should I install on the motorized platform?
The tray holds an ultra-short-throw projector, sold separately. The Leica Cine 1 and Hisense PX4-Pro are among the compatible models. For another model, you need to check that its throw distance allows it to produce a 120-inch image with the tray extended; our team can help you with this calculation.
What is the difference between the two compatible Lumene screens?
The Eden extra bright UST uses a tensioned ambient light rejecting (ALR) screen, designed for ultra-short throw: it reflects light from the projector positioned below towards viewers, while reducing light from windows and lamps. The image retains its contrast in a living room that is not completely dark. The Eden UHD 4K/8K Platinum remains a sensible choice for a room that can be darkened during viewing sessions.
What ceiling height is required?
With the screen extended, the unit reaches 220 cm from the floor. A standard 2.50 m ceiling therefore leaves sufficient clearance, but a beam, pendant light or curtain rail positioned above the cabinet may obstruct the screen as it rises.
Can a subwoofer be integrated into the cabinet?
Yes, an opening for a subwoofer is available as an option, in either the left or right cabinet. The dimensions of the chosen subwoofer should be checked against the internal space before ordering.
What is the total width including the side panels?
With glass side panels, the width increases to approximately 315.2 cm. With veneer panels, it reaches approximately 317 cm. The 3.20 m of clear wall space remains sufficient in both cases.
Glossy glass or satin glass, which should you choose?
Glossy glass gives deeper tones, but it reflects windows, lamps, and the image projected just above it. Satin glass diffuses these reflections and provides a more understated surface that draws less attention during the film.
Can the feet come in a color other than black?
The Edge feet, originally black, and the Frame base can be lacquered. They can then match a front panel in a RAL colour available on quotation or one of the glass shades in the colour chart.
