Spectral Core 30
Overview
Beneath a wall-mounted TV, this low cabinet measures 30 cm high and 48 cm deep, with widths ranging from 45 to 195 cm. Depending on what it needs to conceal, the front is a single or double glass drop-down door, an acoustic fabric drop-down door in front of a soundbar, or a drawer. The cabinet can be wall-mounted, placed on the floor or fitted with legs, and is assembled by hand in Harderwijk, in the Netherlands.
The intermediate height in the Core range
The Core range comes in three heights, 20, 30 and 40 cm, with the same colours and options. The 30 cm version stays low beneath the screen while offering more room than the 20 cm version for a player, a console or an AV receiver. For an even more discreet cabinet, there is the 20 cm version. For more space, the 40 cm version.
The cabinet body is made from 19 mm black MDF. It is fully clad in 4 mm safety glass, including the top. The top spans the full width in a single piece, with no visible joint. The nine widths (45, 60, 90, 120, 135, 150, 165, 180 and 195 cm) accommodate anything from a small bedroom screen to a large living room TV.
Glass, fabric or a drawer to suit what you store
The glass drop-down door is available in all widths, from 45 to 195 cm. It opens downwards and provides access to the entire cabinet. Once closed, it forms a single surface with the top, concealing the equipment stored behind it. In the double-glass version, the front is divided into two horizontal bands, making the cabinet look lighter.
From 120 cm wide, the drop-down door can be made with acoustic fabric. Sound from the soundbar passes through while the device stays hidden. A height-adjustable support positions the soundbar directly behind the fabric, and the back of the cabinet has cut-outs to accommodate wall sockets.
In the 45, 60 and 90 cm widths, the front can be a soft-close glass drawer, with single or double glass. Rather than bending down to search at the back of the cabinet, you pull out the drawer and its contents come to you: remote controls, controllers, discs. Each cabinet has just one front. To combine a large drop-down door and a drawer, you therefore need to place two Core cabinets side by side.
Wall-mounted, on glides or on Edge legs
All three installation options are included at no extra cost. Wall-mounted, the cabinet is 30 cm high and does not touch the floor, leaving room to vacuum underneath. This requires a solid wall. On its 2.5 cm glides, it rests on the floor and measures 32.5 cm high. With the 13 cm black Edge legs, it reaches 43 cm: the floor stays clear without drilling, and a screen placed on top sits higher, closer to eye level when seated.
Cables routed inside
Cables run through the cabinet internally, hidden by removable rear panels. The panels come off to connect or add a device, then go back into place. An optional cable outlet in the top routes cables up to the TV without running them behind the top.
An optional swivelling column is also available to position the screen above the cabinet when the wall cannot support it or you do not want to drill into it. The screen can then be turned towards the sofa or the table.
Thirteen glass shades and five fabric shades
The gloss glass is available in 13 shades. There are neutral tones (snow white, grey, pebble, sand, stone, granite, shadow, smoke, black, espresso) and bolder colours (powder pink, cobalt, burgundy). With the soundbar front, the acoustic fabric is available in silver, grey, pebble, carbon or black. The top and the rest of the cabinet retain the chosen glass shade, allowing you to match pebble fabric with glass in the same shade, or create contrast with carbon fabric beneath sand glass.

Frequently asked questions
Can a soundbar be placed behind the glass flap?
No. Glass blocks sound. To keep the soundbar inside the cabinet, you need to choose the drop-down front in acoustic fabric, available in widths from 120 to 195 cm. The height-adjustable support and the back panel with cutouts for sockets are only available with this front.
What is the difference between a single-glazed front and a double-glazed front?
It’s a difference in appearance. The single glass front forms one continuous glass surface. The double glass front is designed as two horizontal bands, giving a 30 cm-high cabinet a lighter look.
Can a subwoofer fit inside the cabinet?
Yes, with the subwoofer opening option, which is only available with the fabric front panel. The subwoofer and soundbar are then both concealed behind the same covering.
Can several Core furniture units be lined up?
Yes. Core units can be placed side by side, for example a drop-down door unit and a drawer unit. Each unit then retains its own top. A single-piece top spanning several units, up to 360 cm, is available on request for a quote.
What type of wall is needed for wall mounting?
A solid wall, made of concrete for example, as it must support the weight of the furniture, equipment and glass. For a lightweight partition wall, it is better to choose the pads or Edge feet, which are also included.
Which TVs is the swivel pole compatible with?
Screens from 55 to 85 inches (139.7 to 215.9 cm diagonally), weighing up to 50 kg. The weight to consider is that of the TV without its stand, as listed in the screen manufacturer’s specifications.
Are the TV and soundbar included?
No, only the cabinet is supplied, with the chosen front, finish and mounting configuration, along with the selected options (pole, cable grommets, subwoofer opening).
- Eco-contribution included in the sale price.
