The HD3000 significantly improves the quality of the projected home cinema image. At the heart of the HD3000, Gennum Visual Excellence Processing™ (VXP™) technology is capable of enhancing any video source using the latest image processing algorithms.

Switching

Video switching allows you to simultaneously connect 14 inputs such as HDMI, Component, and RGB SCART, and convert the signal to a single digital HDMI output for a very simple connection to your display system.

Scaling

The HD3000 can optimize any video signal to match (1:1) exactly the resolution of your home cinema display system.

Deinterlacing

The HD3000 is perfect for pixel-level deinterlacing combined with automatic film format management in standard or high definition.

Color Management

Traditional scalers offer contrast and brightness adjustments for Red, Green, and Blue colors. With the HD3000, these color adjustments are extended to 6 colors: Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow. Each of these colors has 16 regional adjustments to change brightness and contrast. The resulting 96 levels of control optimize the quality of the projected image.

Image Processing

The HD3000 allows for particularly comprehensive adjustments including a video noise reduction system, very comprehensive contrast adjustments, and image smoothing. All of these systems provide optimized home cinema image quality.
