Conductor

A single strand avoids the interaction phenomenon between the strands of conventional cables, which is a major cause of distortion.

Metal

These OFHC coppers are general industrial coppers that minimize losses, without worrying about distortion. LGC copper has few oxides in its composition with fewer impurities between the grains for better performance.

Insulation

Any solid material adjacent to a conductor is part of an imperfect circuit. Internal link cables and electronic boards absorb energy and increase losses. A fraction of this energy is stored and generates distortion.

The Sidewinder uses Foamed Polyethylene (FPE) as insulation on both conductors because the air present in the FPE absorbs the released energy and the Polyethylene minimizes losses and distortion.
