Conductor

Magnetic and electrical interactions between the strands are sources of distortion that produce a harsh sound. The Diamondback’s solid conductors deliver clear, detailed sound.

Metal

Perfect-Surface Copper (PSC) has an exceptionally smooth, fine, and pure surface. The technologies used to prepare the metal protect the cable’s surface at every stage of design and manufacturing.

When extremely pure, low-oxidation copper is kept as smooth and supple as possible, it becomes a wonderful low-distortion conductor.

Insulation

Any solid material adjacent to a conductor is part of an imperfect circuit. Internal interconnects and circuit boards absorb energy and increase loss. A fraction of this energy is stored and generates distortion.

The Diamondback uses Foamed Polyethylene (FPE) as insulation on both conductors because the air in FPE does not absorb and re-release energy, and the polyethylene minimizes loss and distortion.
