Audioquest Angel DIN/DIN DBS (Analog DIN Audio Cables)

Angel is the flagship model in AudioQuest’s Bridges & Falls series, the only one in this range to use solid pure silver conductors (Perfect-Surface Silver). This metal purity reduces distortion caused by grain boundaries present in any metallic conductor, and the solid-core design (not stranded) eliminates strand interaction that affects signal dynamics.

The 72V DBS system continuously polarizes the FEP Air-Tube insulation using a stable electrostatic field. Unpolarized insulation slows different parts of the signal differently, a real issue for audio signals spanning multiple octaves. By stabilizing this dielectric behavior, DBS helps create a particularly quiet background. The three-layer NDS system (metal and carbon-loaded synthetics) dissipates RF interference before it reaches the ground plane.

The asymmetric double-balanced geometry, with separate positive and negative conductors, lowers impedance on the ground side. While many unbalanced cables use a single path for ground and shielding, double-balanced configurations separate these functions. Angel DIN cables are made to order in California, with customizable lengths and terminations.
