Audioquest BigFoot BASS (Speaker Cables & Wires, Assembled)

The BigFoot BASS occupies a precise place in the AudioQuest range: a bass cable dedicated to bi-wire configurations with the Lone Ranger or Athena ZERO-Tech. It replaces the Robin Hood within the Folk Hero series and handles only low frequencies up to 10 kHz.

The design is based on solid, direction-controlled Perfect-Surface Copper+ conductors, combined with ZERO-Tech technology, which eliminates the cable’s characteristic impedance. Added to this is level-10 RF/ND-Tech, a patented circuit that drains radio-frequency noise away from the amplifier’s output. The positive and negative poles run through separate sleeves, which improves flexibility and makes routing behind furniture easier.

The red copper banana plugs or spades are cold-welded and then silver-plated by immersion, and the ABS output housings prevent HF noise from being introduced into the conductors. Made to order in California, the BigFoot BASS is available in custom lengths. It is not used for full-range operation or for treble: its place is on the bass and midrange inputs of a bi-wireable speaker.
