Sony BRAVIA 9 II 2026 (High-Definition Televisions)

With the BRAVIA 9 II, Sony introduces its True RGB Mini LED technology on its 2026 flagship range. Each backlight zone includes independently controlled red, green, and blue diodes, whereas a conventional Mini LED relies solely on filtered white LEDs. The announced result: a color volume twice as wide as a standard Mini LED, wider viewing angles, and a claimed peak brightness of around 4,000 nits. The RGB Backlight Master Drive Pro system is powered by the XR processor, supported by RGB Triluminos Max and Luminance Booster Pro processing.

The range comes in 65, 75, 85, and 115 inches, with the latter size being a first for the manufacturer. The panel features the Immersive Black Screen Pro coating, an anti-reflective treatment that preserves blacks in bright rooms. On the HDR side: Dolby Vision, HDR10, and IMAX Enhanced. Gaming benefits from two HDMI 2.1 inputs (4K 120 Hz, VRR, ALLM) with a PS5-optimized mode.

The Google TV interface includes the Gemini assistant, and the Acoustic Center Sync function uses the TV speakers as a center channel in combination with a Sony soundbar.
