Cardas Clear Digital (Digital Coaxial Cables)

Clear Digital is Cardas’s high-end digital coaxial cable. Its design is based on Matched Propagation technology, developed by George Cardas in 2010. It corrects a known flaw in digital transmission: when the signal travels faster than the dielectric allows, the information becomes blurred. By adjusting the winding angle of each copper strand around a Kevlar core, the conductor’s propagation speed aligns with that of the insulation, and the signal remains intact from one end of the cable to the other.

The conductors use 99.9999% pure oxygen-free copper in a Litz construction, with gauges calibrated according to the proportions of the golden ratio. The coaxial geometry maintains the 75-ohm impedance required by the standard, ensuring a clean connection between source and converter.
