Audioquest NRG-Y3 (Power Cables)

AudioQuest’s NRG-Y series opens the brand’s range of power cables, with technologies derived from the Storm series. The NRG-Y3 is the three-pole version, terminated with an IEC C13 connector on the equipment side and a Schuko plug on the wall side.

Its conductors are made of Long-Grain Copper, whose regular crystalline structure limits distortion caused at grain boundaries. They follow a Semi-Solid Concentric arrangement: tightly packed, the strands remain fixed in position within the bundle instead of moving relative to one another, reducing strand-interaction distortion found in ordinary stranded cables.

Where many power cables are limited to low DC resistance to handle current demands, ZERO technology adds zero characteristic impedance: the transients required by electronics pass through without compression. Direction-controlled 0.5% silver-plated drains route high-frequency noise to ground via the dedicated pin.
