TCL RM9L 2026 (High-Definition Televisions)

The RM9L is TCL’s first TV range with RGB Mini LED backlighting. Instead of blue diodes whose light is then coloured by quantum dots, each zone combines red, green and blue LEDs that produce colour directly. TCL claims 100% coverage of the BT.2020 colour space, the reference for HDR content, with an UltraColor filter that keeps hues saturated and stable.

The range starts at 85 inches and goes up to 115. The number of dimming zones and brightness increase with screen size: 2,912 zones and 4,000 cd/m² peak brightness on the 85-inch, 3,840 zones and 6,000 cd/m² on the 98-inch, 5,616 zones and 9,000 cd/m² on the 115-inch. Blacks remain deep around very bright elements, even in a well-lit living room.

The 4K panel has a native refresh rate of 144 Hz, and its four HDMI 2.1 ports accommodate consoles and gaming PCs with FreeSync Premium Pro. The TVs support Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and HLG, sound comes through a 4.2.2 Bang & Olufsen system compatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, and Google TV handles apps.
